Top 9 New Rising Football Stars in the 2023/24 Premier League
The English Premier League in 2023/2024 gains some promising new stars thanks to the expensive and thrilling European football transfer season. Which of the new players joining the Premier League will go on to become major stars in the upcoming years is difficult to predict. Newcomer Nicolas Jackson, from Senegal, of Chelsea is predicted by many experts to become one of the brightest stars in the Premier League next season.
Nicolas Jackson scored 13 goals in 38 games for Villarreal last season, including nine in the final eight games of the season. With impressive performance, he was recruited by Chelsea in the summer of 2023. The London team spent £ 30 million to recruit this 22-year-old player.
The player born in 2001 has integrated very quickly with Chelsea, he scored 2 goals in 3 friendlies in the summer of 2023 of the Blues.
Gakpo is an indispensable winger of PSV Eindhoven club. He was famous when he fought in the World Cup 2022.
The Dutch player born in 1999 has a height of 1m93 and is the best attacking star of European football today.
Darwin Nunez has more of a ‘marquee’ feeling about him than Gakpo, but the Netherlands international seriously turned heads on the aforementioned global stage – where he scored three goals.
Despite joining Liverpool in January, the 24-year-old was able to score seven goals and rack up two assists – in 13 league starts – last season.
Going into 2023/24, it would be wise to keep an eye on Gakpo, perhaps even ahead of teammates Nunez and potential summer signings.
The 18-year-old is probably now seen as a serious option up top for Brighton.
Last season was a very successful season for Evan Ferguson. In 25 matches in all competitions, he has scored a total of 10 goals and has 3 assists.
With six Premier League goals, the 18-year-old forward is the teen’s top scorer of the season. It’s not surprising that Ferguson caught the eye of the giants, but Brighton was also quick to tie him up with a long-term contract.
Ramsey has now been playing at a consistently high level for two seasons in the Premier League, which is especially impressive as he’s just 22 years old.
The midfielder, with six goals and seven assists in the league last term, can expect an England call-up, much like Eze if he continues on his current path at Villa.
The West Midlands side enjoyed a relatively successful 2022/23 season, rebounding from a crumbling Steven Gerrard reign at the helm.
It speaks to Ramsey’s character that after a quiet start to last term, followed by a managerial change and an injury, after which he scored five of his six goals, he was able to go on a wonderful run of form.
To see Eze on this list is perhaps not a shock at all, but the Palace wizard is an underrated English talent in the Premier League.
While already renowned as a skilful winger and dangerous attacker, there is a feeling that his levels are even higher than what we’ve already seen in the top flight.
Eze managed 10 goals and four assists last season, and was one of the best players in the league, playing in a very average Palace team.

With nine goals and eight assists to his name last season, alongside Ivan Toney and Yoane Wissa, Mbeumo made himself a man to be feared in the Premier League.
The 23-year-old Cameroon international has been with Brentford since before their promotion from the Championship two summers ago but found a new level last term.
Toney often stole the spotlight last season but Mbeumo put in solid performances week after week – totting up numbers in the roles of creator and finisher.
If the Bees continue to improve year-on-year, as they have done at a more than respectable pace, it should be expected that their No. 19 will be one of the stars of the show.
Jones is actually a rather “old” name in the Liverpool squad. He made his debut with Liverpool’s first team in 2019, and became an official member of the team from the 2019/20 season – the season when Liverpool won the Premier League for the first time in 30 years.
However, injury has slowed down Curtis Jones’ development. He was often absent, and when given the opportunity, he did not leave a mark.
It’s no wonder Brighton dominate this list of young stars. The team nicknamed “Seagull” is very hard to give opportunities to young players. One of those who has taken such opportunities most impressively is Julio Enciso.
The Paraguayan striker is an expert at creating super products, and even more impressive when three of the four goals he scored in his first season in the Premier League were against Chelsea, Arsenal and Man City. With a transfer fee of just £9.5m, Enciso is certainly another Brighton bargain. Any team that wants to have him at this time will have to spend three or even five times the amount.
The young Argentine player has experienced a season with all levels. At the beginning of the season, he was punished by coach Erik ten Hag for showing a lack of positive attitude in practice and activities. But after correcting the mistake, Garnacho was immediately given the opportunity and exploded violently with very important last-minute goals.
